'Tis very cute... But Prepare to Cry! (I should really make an idea with an evil me on it where I'm saying that... It sounds cool!)

Anyway, here goes:

I wouldn't shade his eyes when he blinks. It gives the impressio that they bulge out of his head, which would make him ugly, and not that cute . And I'd drop the shading at the innermost corners of his eyes: see the one I sent you. Now, the two next things I'm going to comment would change the emote a little bit, if you know what I mean.

The emote is cute, no doubt, but it is very sad. If we look at the ultimate cute-"puppy"-eyed being we can find, namely Puss In Boots (Shrek), he doesn't look sad at all. Only harmless. The emote here comes a little bit more of (to me) as a cute-eyed-sniffle emote. Which is exactly more of what I would like to see in it. I'd make the lip quiver a little bit. Only a pixel down and then up at the fastest speed that you find best suited. And as you can see on the one I sent you they eyes would go up a little bit as he sniffs. Just to make him look sadder. You might want to consider moving the eyes a pixel up as he sniffs. I haven't tried this due the reason that I coudn't be bothered making them a layer when I was reviewing the emote

Now, if you follow these changes however, the emote will not be as cute as you might have intended. I'd make the eyes a little bit smaller... Perhaps along the lines of my if I can be as rude as i was and suggest that... Like that one, only with the lines around the eye like your :glompfuck:...
