This is my entry for *
eCSSited's very first
CSS contest.
One of the rules of the contest is that you cannot use images apart from a few little icons here and there, which makes the contest extra challenging for the CSS-savvy folks. It might surprise you to learn that this entire journal skin uses
absolutely no images and is the result of carefully placing 1 colored div at a time. It was developed in and for Firefox 3, and since I am on Linux at the moment I cannot view it in IE7. If it is a complete mess in IE then I will just leave it as is, but if it just needs a few tweaks I might fix them.
Devious Comments
Someone made a big picture of Homer Simpson using only divs.
Amazing work, man.
I recall seeing that Homer Simpson thing, I think there was a G. W. Bush one, as well.

Silly cheese...
While the failure in IE7 is not catastrophic, it is a bit borked. For the most part it's okay, the main problems being there's a bunch of missing pixels and the shrub isn't connected with the ground (which doesn't have the gap at the end.) Nothing the underscore hack couldn't fix, I'd imagine.
...I guess I shouldn't say any more, 'cause I think I'm a judge in this
I figured the box model would give me problems. I've been working on getting a VM up and running so I can take a look at and fix that stuff, so hopefully those will go away eventually.
